The passing of a loved one is never an easy moment in anyone's life. Please be assured of our prayers and support for you at this time. There are a number of things we can do for you as a family or the next of kin.
This may include asking one of the clergy from St Edmund's to prepare and lead the funeral service of your loved one. The service can either take place at the cemetery or crematorium chapel or, if you wish, there can be a church service beforehand. In any case, all of can be agreed with the parish clergy. The most important thing you can do right now is make contact with the funeral directors of your choice. With your agreement, they will talk you through the process and make all the necessary arrangements including making contact with the clergy person who will lead the funeral service.
A Service to Remember Loved Ones in November
Every November, those who have lost loved ones in the previous year or two are invited back to St Edmund's Church Temple Hill for a service of remembering loved ones. This service includes a litany of names of all those who have died and an opportunity to mark the passing of loved ones. If this is something that would interest you, please contact the St Edmund's Parish Administrator on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Parish Centre Office on 01322 311201 for more information.
